benempt:

My dad and me in Alaska, 1984 or 1985.

You were 8 months at the time. We had the pack custom-built as there were no heavy-duty baby packs at the time. All the women workers at the Denali St. Park loved you. Every one of them wanted to hold you and play. Unless we let you out of the pack to crawl around in the tundra while we were hiking, you would be up all night partying. Drove us nuts. By the way, the park ranger called you “Bear Food.”
